Presidents Corner

Hey folks!  It has been an extremely busy off-season.  Starting in September, we have mowed the entirety of the Ware River Rail Trail from rt. 122 in Barre all the way to Baldwinville.  Along that stretch, we completely rebuilt the bridge over the Burnshirt River.  Working with our private landowners, we have also addressed some serious washouts and  and drainage issues.  ITS 71 through Lake Dennison was also mowed, as well as parts of Goodnow Rd and River Rd.  We have installed a number of new gates this year to keep our landowners happy.  DCR was able to grade and address some drainage issues in the are of Back bay through Baldwinville, on ITS 71.  We are in the process of servicing all of the groomers so they are ready to roll when snow flies.  There is still a lot of work to be done so keep your eye out on our Facebook page for updates and work parties.  Think snow!
