Hello Members and Guests,
Well so far it has been a pretty depressing season for all of us. I hope you all have found ways to shake those winter blues away!! I have done a lot of lake riding and ice fishing to keep me occupied. All our groomers are fueled up and sitting waiting for the snow to fly and by the sounds of it *(02/23/10) the forecast is a good one. We will do our best to keep the trails rideable as long as possible.
Our annual meeting is coming up on Sunday April 18,2010 at the King Phillip Restaurant in Phillipston. Brunch ($10) at 10AM and the meeting at 12 noon. You do not have to attend the brunch to attend the meeting.
We have decided to give out a few awards at this event to honor the people who have made a difference within our club. Please take the time and fill out a nomination form and submit it. There are many good candidates who should be recognized. AWARDS
The annual meeting is also the time where the officers, Board of Directors and By Laws are voted in. If you feel you would like to run for one of these positions they are open to all members in good standing. These positions can be a tough, but rewarding experience.
I have many items on the plate for next year and a few new trails to add also. I will work hard for the club and make sure that the trails that you ride can be the best that a volunteer club can provide. Hopefully we will have an ITS 71 "A" next year to get you off the beaten path a little bit. It will be a smaller trail but still groomed with the big machines.
Don't forget to check out the club forums where you can sign up and chat with club members and get much more detailed information on what is happening within our club. It is a free resource to all and has a special "Members Only" section where you can ask and receive any information you may need from the club and it's members who ride the trails. There are many categories you can still browse as a non member within the forums too.
I hope you all have a great rest of season and remember to support your club.
Thank You
