The Coldbrook Snowmobile Club held its seventh monthly meeting on Monday, March 1, 2010 at the King Phillip Restaurant in Phillipston. Due to the unavailability of club president Gerry Balchuinas, the meeting was conducted by club vice president Dean Zuppio.
Photocopies of the meeting minutes from the sixth monthly meeting held in on February 1, 2010 and the treasurer's report were made available for the present members to peruse prior to the start of the meeting.  Club vice president Dean Zuppio began the meeting by asking if the members present had sufficient enough time to review said documents and there were no objections to requesting motions to accept both documents through separate verbal votes after each motion was made and seconded.
The second agenda item were the bills to be submitted by club members for official club activities. Such were submitted and a motion was made to pay the bills which was quickly seconded followed by a unanimous verbal vote from the members present.
The next item on the meeting agenda was the condition of the trails which was quickly and humorously summed up by many members wondering how there could be trail reports with the unfortunate lack of snow since the last meeting.  One member did report that the trail from the King Phillip Restaurant to Lake Dennison had some tree limb trimming completed by them and a helper.
The next reports included the current operating condition of the club's fleet of groomers and the minor repairs needed from their seasonal usage.
Club vice president Dean Zuppio proceeded to report that all trails are currently closed due to lack of snow and for safety reasons such as flooding, etc..
The next topic of discussion was the upcoming annual meeting to be held on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at 12pm at the King Phillip Restaurant with a brunch buffet to precede the meeting beginning at 10am.  The cost of the buffet is ten dollars per person which will be a significant discount as pointed out by member Bobby Cox.  A proposal was then made by club member Bobby Cox to have the club subsidize the additional cost for gratuity and any additional costs for the buffet.  A motion was made, quickly seconded, and a unanimous verbal vote approved the payment of this expense by the club's funds.  At this time, club member bobby cox asked for volunteers to chair a committee to vote on the submitted nominations for the wards for the annual meeting.  such awards will include "Groomer of the Year", "Snowmobiler of the Year", and "Friend of the Coldbrook Snowmobile Club(for the 2009-2010 season).  A four member committee was selected from those present members who volunteered.  Club member Bobby Cox informed the present membership that the annual meeting is also the opportunity to ammend any club by-laws as well as for the election of club officers and the club's board of directors.  Any proposals can be made at the annual meeting as this meeting will be the club's next and final meeting for the season.  Attendance at the annual meeting is encouraged as these very important items will be voted on by the present membership at the annual meeting.
Club vice president Dean Zuppio reported that club president is currently exploring the viability of the club hosting a vintage snowmobile race next riding season. Another possible new business agenda item was a proposed summer outing to be held the second weekend in July at the pavilion near the Otter River   This will be a family outing event with details to follow on the club's website.  Club vice president Zuppio asked if there were any other items of new club business and there were no suggestions at this time.
Club vice president Zuppio reported the financial results from the large screen television raffle which was raffled at the club's February meeting.
Club vice president Zuppio asked for a motion to adjourn the seventh monthly meeting of the Coldbrook Snowmobile Club and a motion was made, quickly seconded, and a verbal vote approved the adjournment of the meeting at 8:12p.m..
